Our Faith

Our school is situated in the parish of St. Thomas of Canterbury in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Hexham and Newcastle. The school shares the same site as the church and enjoys close links with the parish community. The clergy are supportive of the whole school community and make regular welcome visits to our school. Our children, staff, family and friends also enjoy regular visits to the church with opportunities to worship, celebrate, forgive, repent, meditate, learn about and investigate; as individuals and together as part of a community. In Holy Rosary learning takes place within the Catholic Ethos and our school vision statement expresses our: ‘Love of God, Love of Learning, Love of Life.’

The Roman Catholic Diocese of Hexham and Newcastle comprises the counties of Northumberland, Tyne and Wear, Durham, Hartlepool and the part of Stockton Borough that lies north of the River Tees. The Right Reverend Seamus Cunningham is the Bishop of Hexham and Newcastle Diocese. The Diocesan Education Service has been established to support those involved in education.
